In this universe, Magic can be as beneficial than dangerous. A more or less controlled pandemic is in the world : AMR - Acute Magic Radiation.  Caused by the HUGE magic rates in the galaxy.

It depends on the resistance of people, but some are very sensitive to it and start to mutate, and others may be healthy carriers without showing any signs of his life.

Mages, like Adia, can control the magic in their bodies, but they must be carefull not to let it devour them. A treatment is, therefore, very advisable (similar to diabetes) and medical supervision are up.

Arkkis is lucky and unlucky. Magic changed and mutilate his body ( he was a grizzly bear before), Making him feel daily suffering. But he is still lucid and not hightly agressive and bestial like the other mutated. Because his body doesn't give up yet.

- Hightly erudite about magic, the ways it act on bodies, and the ways it can be healed/ease.
- Bitterness towards non mutated, the ones who sentenced to exile by their status

Other :
- He suffers from bipolar disorder. Masks of calm and rage change very frequently and often without any reason, but as all bipolar, he tends to forget his emotional outbursts.
- After the AMR was diagnosed in an advanced stage, Arkkis' live changed drastically. The young teenager he was got violently separated from his loving familly and put into a ghetto, where other mutated like him lives. Mutated who raised and cared for him. Gratefull, Arkkis will do anything to improve the living conditions of his mutated brothers and sisters.
Young adult, he had many ideas to share here and made his adoptive fathers and mothers who helped him in his daunting task: To recognize the mutated to better understand and avoid unnecessary executions/heartbreaking separation and trauma.
Adult, he created the Red Dragon Clan and became its leader. This Clan is composed solely of mutated who recovered the orphans or the banished and teach them better control their magic and the laws of non-aggression against non mutated.
- His scepter, he uses to exorcise his magic when too much, was sculpted in a dragon's skull.
- His Hi-Tech bracelet is useful to calculate the magic rate in air and blood.
- His tail may looks like a scorpion's one, but he doesn't have poison in it.
